Kotka Kendo Club
Gu Do Ken Kai is the japanese name of the Kotka Kendo Club. Freely translated it means the Sword School of Eternal Seeking and Hunger for Knowledge. Name was given by KONDO Wataru sensei (Kendo 8th Dan Kyoshi) when he visited Kotka Kendo Club freshly on it’s founding year 1998. The founders of Kotka Kendo Club were young boys who had no previous kendo knowledge but they were active and eager to learn more. These features still form the essence of Kotka Kendo Club spirit!
